Over the years, Dane Ghyll Parent Teacher Association has raised thousands of pounds, which have been spent on equipment and resources for the benefit of pupils, such as books for the library, gardening tools, sports kits and playground equipment.

Parents are automatically members of the P.T.A. when their children join the school, and all parents and members of the school community can get involved if they want to, even if they only have a small amount of time available.

The majority of our funds are raised through events such as the Christmas and Summer Fayres, our annual Sponsored Walk and Valentine's and Halloween Discos.

There are lots of ways you can support Dane Ghyll P.T.A., for example, by offering to help before or during events, or at other times of the year. It doesn't matter if you can't help on a regular basis, or even if you can't come into school, as there are always little jobs that can be done from home if you have half an hour to spare, for example, wrapping gifts or preparing raffle tickets.

The committee meet once every half term, usually on Mondays, in the school staff room, and you are more than welcome to join us at any time. If you would like more information or can offer any help, please speak to one of our committee members.
